The Power of Television

So this is pretty late i know, but i still want to post things about this matter. So about a month ago, evil thing had happened.well, i live in kk. of course i heard the story from all directions and the hiatus behind it. the brouhaha about the man who toppled and smashed electronic devices at SenQ's outlet here in kk was quite scary, thrilling and crazy. like its directed by Micheal Bay or something. if you cannot imagine it, it's pretty much like Grand Theft Auto game, but its in the real-world, with real people.
i've heard stories, but, you know, local people tend to be biased and some people have the literary creativity to exaggerate stuff. but from what i know, SenQ is quite an established name in Malaysia with its reasonable and affordable goods.

I've also heard about skeptic remarks and doubts that come with the brand as well.

These are some of SenQ's Products, just so you know.

Yesterday, i went to Karamunsing mall to but stationary and printer inkjets at the second floor,so i did passed by the place and i think the place looks normal to me.I think the number of workers have increased, which is wise of them. Increasing the level of security is vital, not only for SenQ, but also to other shops as well too. This event should be a reminder to us that things happened, and we should always be prepared. Theres a lot of interesting malls, shops and places in Kota Kinabalu but, seriously, the level of security are not good enough,me thinks. People should also learn about the norms of the society and behave appropriately at public places. you dont just go a-rampage, flipping away on other poeple's property like Freddy Kruger on steroids. Oh well, living in Kota Kinabalu is quite stressful, i understand that, but please, attend anger management class, participate in 7K charity run, or try something like Durian Eating Competition to alleviate and channel your stress level.
But still. since im not at the scene at that time i do not own the right to say anything. Only God knows.

Inking a ladylike minor.

Bieber, Gomez set fans afire at mall
KUALA LUMPUR - Teen singing sensation Justin Bieber was spotted at Wangsa Walk Mall yesterday with his girlfriend, singer and actress Selena Gomez.
The lovebirds were seen holding hands as they walked around the shopping mall. Several bodyguards hovered around them.
Fans who noticed their presence took photographs of the couple. It was reported that Bieber and Gomez were shopping for iPhone covers.
Both of them looked relaxed as they took their time to tour the mall despite the attention from fans.
Bieber is in town for this year's MTV World Stage, which is scheduled to be held today at Surf Beach @ Sunway Lagoon. The highly anticipated show is scheduled to kickoff at 6.30pm with the 18-year old singer expected to open the concert.
Bieber and his entourage, which includes Gomez, arrived at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport on Thursday night at 10.30pm.
Besides Bieber, the concert will also see performances from Korean-American singer song-writer, dancer and actor, Jay Park and popular South Korean girl group, Kara.
The country's very own performer, Mizz Nina will also perform at the concert.
The concert will be shown as a two-hour TV special on MTV SEA channel on Saturday, July 28 at 2.30pm.
Music buffs, who still do not have passes to the concert, might have one more chance to get them as MTV VJ Rich will be giving away passes at Sunway Lagoon entrance today from 2-3pm.
Doors open from 3.30pm.

1. Football: QPR’s Ferdinand Silent on Terry Acquittal

July 16, 2012
Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia. Anton Ferdinand declined to comment Saturday on John Terry being cleared of racially abusing him, as the QPR defender arrived in Malaysia with his team-mates for a pre-season tour.

Chelsea captain Terry was found not guilty on Friday at a court in London, in a high-profile trial that overshadowed the English Premier League and the national team for months.

Ferdinand — younger brother of Terry’s former international team-mate Rio Ferdinand — and the Queens Park Rangers squad touched down in Kota Kinabalu, the capital of Sabah state, on Borneo island.

Met by a throng of reporters at the airport, Ferdinand said “no comment” when asked about the not-guilty verdict.

QPR chief executive Philip Beard added: “We have nothing to comment on Anton, except that he is part of the squad that is travelling with us. We shall see how things take shape over the next few days.”

Ferdinand’s parents on Friday also declined to comment as they left court.

The trial related to an incident involving Terry and Ferdinand during a Premier League match on October 23 last year. Terry was stripped of the England captaincy in February over the allegations.

As a consequence, Fabio Capello resigned as England manager, just months before England — defender Terry included — competed in the European Championships.

Terry could yet face disciplinary action from England’s Football Association despite being cleared in court. The FA said it would continue its own disciplinary process, which was suspended so as not to prejudice the trial.

QPR, owned by Malaysian businessman Tony Fernandes, will play a friendly against a local Sabah squad on Tuesday before heading to the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur to meet Super League champions Kelantan in a friendly on Friday.

They will then fly to Indonesia and play against local team Persebaya Surabaya on July 23.

Asked about speculation linking the London club to Liverpool’s Craig Bellamy, Beard said: “The manager has already made some signings to beef up the squad and any more signings will be up to the manager, Mark Hughes.”

2. 'Choc ice' is not a racist slur, insists Rio Ferdinand after he used term to describe England teammate Ashley Cole

what is the line for one to be considered as racist? so if you muttered 'choc ice' to a person that isn't white, are you as rude? what does it take to be racist? hmmm.hmmm.
