Since taking gold this week, women have been rushing to replicate abs like Jessica Ennis

The 26-year-old athlete’s abs were voted the most desirable in Britain in a recent poll, but Jessica wasn't born with the perfect washboard stomach and has admitted to training for up to six hours a day, six times a week to achieve the sought-after look.

But it seems British women are cheating in their quest to taut tummy muscles and people are so desperate to rival the athlete's stomach that one clinic has witnessed a staggering 200% increase in treatments for tummy fat removal.

Harley Street clinic LoveLite, who offer thecosmetic tummy fat reduction treatment Lipoglaze. has seen their order book double since Jessica Ennis took the gold medal just four days ago.

The Lipoglaze treatment is the latest non-surgical, pain free body contouring liposuction treatment which targets hard to shift areas by freezing fat cells which then naturally waste away.

Around a third of all fat cells treated will disappear from each one-hour session.

LoveLite clinic owner Donnamarie McBride said: 'Since the Olympics started we’ve had a lot of women coming to us with pictures of Jessica Ennis saying they want to have a torso similar to hers, but they have said they need a bit of extra help because they struggle to get down to those levels with just a couple of gym sessions a week.

'The day after she won gold the next morning the phones went crazy and we had over 20 bookings for Lipoglaze and they all said they wanted to have a tummy like Jessica Ennis and they wanted to have it done as soon as we could fit them in.'

She added: 'The LoveLite Lipoglaze will shift a third of the fat around the tummy in one session, and then the dead fat cells will naturally be excreted through the body over the next few weeks.

The difference in body shape is visable in a matter of weeks but for best results should be taken in conjunction with a fitness routine and a healthy diet.

And 24 hours after she won the women's omnium, she did just that - happily chatting up Prince Harry at the beach volleyball final before making a very public display of affection with fellow cyclist Jason Kenny, 24.

Trott and Kenny were more than happy to show off their romance to the world and were seen kissing in the stands  – just a row behind footballer David Beckham and his son Cruz.

Harrison, 20, from Gwent, Wales, is not in the Olympic cycling team and is currently racing in the U23 Euro Road Championships in Holland. In June, Trott spoke to the Daily Mail about her then-boyfriend. 

Asked if it was difficult to maintain a relationship and train for the Olympics, she said: ‘I think it can work. They need to get what you are trying to do.’

Signs that Kenny and Trott had become close emerged when she tweeted: ‘Soo happy for Jason :) X’ after his victory on August 6. Kenny, from Bolton, has won two golds, in the men’s team sprint and individual sprint finals.

Kenny has been described by sprint coach Ian Dyer as ‘probably the most relaxed, and relaxing, person I know and strangely that can be a very useful quality in such a dynamic explosive sport as individual sprinting’.

Earlier in the day, Trott was spotted enjoying a £4.30 bottle of beer with Prince Harry and they appeared to get on like a house on fire, laughing and joking together as they watched the final volleyball medal matches in Horse Guards Parade.

The cyclist even managed to distract the single prince from the bikini-clad beauties battling it out on the court.

On the court, Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh of the United States won gold in the all-American final.

The duo claimed their third consecutive Olympic title after they defeated number six seeds Jennifer Kessy and April Ross in straight sets.

In the earlier bronze medal match, Brazil's Juliana Felisberta and Larissa Franca staged a dazzling comeback to beat China's Xue Chen and Zhang Xi after being within two points of losing.

Sports fans who marvelled at the thunderous thighs of German cyclist Robert Forstemann have found a new superhuman at the Olympic Park.... the swimmer with 'waterwings'.

Italian Fabio Scozzoli's impressive torso drew gasps from the crowd when he strode into the Aquatics Centre ahead of the men's 100m breaststroke final on Sunday night.

And when the 23-year-old dived in the water, his fully flexed underarm muscles looked like a pair of wings.

Scozzoli's 'wings' are so big, some swimming fans have accused him of growing fins to gain an advantage.

They may look impressive, but bulging arms didn't help him the world championships silver medal winner claim a place on the podium on Sunday - he finished seventh out of eight in the breaststroke final.

Forstemann's thighs exploded into the public consciousness after he was pitted against his compatriot Andre Greipel in a 'quad off' by New Zealand cyclist Greg Henderson.

The track and road racing cyclist posted a photograph on Twitter of the pair standing next to each other bearing their muscular bottom halves.

Mr Henderson said: ‘You thought Greipel has a big set of legs. There was a quad off in the German camp today. Greipel lost. pic.twitter.com/91Y7S7ps’

The post was accompanied with the above picture which seemed to prove the two cyclists had been sticking to their strict Games training regime - no doubt with plenty of squats.

Donning only boxers, with their trousers dropped to their ankles, the Germans show off their gigantic quadriceps.

Although Greipel’s thighs look big, Förstemann has freakishly large vein-laden muscles which dwarf those of his 30-year-old compatriot.

Forstemann was part of the UCI Track Cycling world champion side which won the team sprint for the Germans, but has been omitted from the sprint team for the London Games.

Greipel - as well as partaking in Henderson's 'quad off' - competed alongside Mark Cavendish and Bradley Wiggins in Saturday's equally thrilling road race.
