i thought it was Byul, Park Han Byul @ Seven's girlfriend at the beginning. And then i did some deep research (Google) and i found out it was the other singer. thinks they are fine together. although i am such a huge fan of Haha, i still wish them all the best for their marriage and future endeavour together. *cries while eating cookie crumbs in the corner*. Running Man Haha to wed singer Byul
Haha and Byul: (ANN/The Korea Herald)
Korean comedian and rapper Haha’s agency said Tuesday that he will soon announce plans to marry singer Byul.
The 33-year-old will host a press conference on Wednesday to reveal details about his wedding, according to QUAN Entertainment.
The agency said Haha, whose real name is Ha Dong-hoon, had been dating Byul since March.
“Haha and Byul were attracted to each other because they had so much in common,” said an employee from QUAN Entertainment.
The wedding will take place on Nov. 30, according to an anonymous source close to Haha.
Haha debuted in 2001 as a rapper in hip-hop group “Jikiryi,” but gained much larger popularity as a comedian.
He is known mostly for his appearance as one of the co-hosts of hugely popular TV entertainment show Running Man and “Muhan Dojeon” (Infinite Challenge). The latter program features six comedians performing hilarious and often bizarre challenges each week.
His fiancé Byul, whose real name is Kim Go-eun, is a well-known ballad singer in Korea.
Haha, “Byul’s Religious Piety Made Me Decide on Marriage”
Haha has revealed it was Byul’s piety that made him decide to marry her.
On August 15 at 12 p.m. (KST) at MBC’s Dream Center in Ilsan, Haha met with the press in a press conference to shed light on his surprise wedding announcement with Byul.
Appearing in a slick black suit, Haha bashfully opened by saying, “Little kid Haha will be getting married.”
Haha then shared, “Go Eun (Byul’s real name) is a loyal and dutiful daughter to her parents. Seeing her pray so fervently and attending to her father when he was ill made me think it would be possible to marry her. Her religious piety and her grounded way of living attracted me to her.”
Haha first revealed his surprise engagement to Byul a day before on August 14.
According to the couple, the two had known each other for many years but had only begun dating in March before deciding to set a wedding date of November 30.
Ahn Hye Kyung Reacts Fine To The News Of HaHa's Marriage
When HaHa announced his marriage with the singer Byul on Tuesday, An Hyekyung, his ex-girlfriend, reacted cool to the news.
After the announcement, Ahn Hye Kyung wrote on
HaHa's Twitter saying "Wow ~ I sincerely congrat you ^^ Congratulations to
Yoo Jae Suk and HaHa!"
On the prior to this event, Haha wrote "Happy Birthday, Jae Suk hyung!! You are a God of entertaiment, being on the set even on your birthday!! Yay!! My birthday is...August 20th" on Yoo Jae Suk's Twitter. Thus, it can't be sure whether An Hye Kyung was referring her congrats to HaHa's birthday or his marriage.
